"Georgetown - Key Bridge" by Paul McGehee. A beautiful hand-signed, limited edition print showing the Georgetown waterfront in Washington, DC, featuring Georgetown University and the Francis Scott Key Bridge. It was named for the composer of "The Star-Spangled Banner", which became our National Anthem. Key himself once lived in a house not far from the future site of this bridge, on what is now M Street and the banks of the C&O Canal. Key Bridge, completed in 1923, is Washington's oldest surviving bridge across the Potomac River. Faithfully reproduced from McGehee's original color pencil drawing. Print image size: 6 1/4" x 9 3/4". Edition size 500 S/N. (Final shipping cost on this small print may indeed be less than actually displayed upon purchase, depending upon destination and weight.)
