"Winter's Home" by Laszlo Neogrady (1900-1962). Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1900, Neogrady was the son of the famed artist Anatal Neogrady. He studied painting at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts under the artist Ede Ballo. His professional career began in 1922 when Neogrady exhibited his work at the Hungarian Art Gallery. He specialized in painting naturalistic landscapes many of which depicted forest scenes in the snow. These works are highly sought after and can be found in collections throughout the world. The artist's extensive use of impasto creates an almost three dimensional effect in these works. His use of light is usually dramatic and his landscapes are very atmospheric. This print from 50 years ago is in very good condition considering its age and rarity. Print image size 24" x 30". Only one in stock.
