Mallard Duck (Rosenthal)
[Figurine]
$1,450.00

"Mallard Duck" by Rosenthal. Here is a real treat...a beautifully hand-glazed porcelain figurine from over 30 years ago by the famous Rosenthal studio of Germany. This piece, entitled "Wild Duck" depicts a Mallard taking off from water. It was designed originally by Heidenreich in 1937, and appears in the pre-war Rosenthal catalog as item #1671. This version, in immaculate condition with no chipping, is from the 1970's with West Germany markings on the base...hand-painting from this era is still of the same fine, meticulous quality that Rosenthal became known for in the Golden Era of figurines. This is a great figurine that would be a prominent addition to your collection. Dimensions 8" H x 10" L x 13" D. Only one in stock.
