"Georgetown - Key Bridge" by Paul McGehee. A beautiful scene showing the Georgetown waterfront in Washington, DC, featuring Georgetown University and the Francis Scott Key Bridge. It was named for the composer of "The Star-Spangled Banner", which became our National Anthem. Key himself once lived in a house not far from the future site of this bridge, on what is now M Street and the banks of the C&O Canal. Key Bridge, completed in 1923, is Washington's oldest surviving bridge across the Potomac River. "Georgetown - Key Bridge" is faithfully reproduced as an archival-quality print from McGehee's original color pencil drawing, issued in a limited edition of only 500 pieces, each hand-signed by the artist. Print image size: 10 1/4" x 16 1/4".
