Tilghman Island on Maryland's Eastern Shore was one of the last places you would see the sail-powered oyster boats of the Chesapeake Bay known as Skipjacks...their beautifully-carved trailboards, glistening with brightly-colored paint and gold-leaf would reflect in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay...a scene from days gone by.
