"Georgetown
University - Healy Hall" by
Paul McGehee depicts the historic old buildings of Georgetown
University as seen on a summer's evening over a century ago, illuminated by the glow of moonlight. Healy Hall, with its famous clock tower, was
completed in 1879. Healy Hall was designed by the same architects who
designed the Library of Congress building. It was named after the
Georgetown President at the time, Patrick Francis Healy. The romanesque
spires have towered above the carved stone main entrance to the
University for over 130 years on the hills above Washington, D.C.'s
Georgetown waterfront. "Georgetown
University - Healy Hall" is an archival quality print
faithfully reproduced from McGehee's original color pencil drawing. A
strictly limited edition of only 500 pieces.
