"Moonlit
Run" by Paul McGehee. This hand-signed, limited edition print depicts
the famous Wilson Line excursion steamboat "State of Delaware" passing
the Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse on a moonlit evening
in 1931. The "State of Delaware" was a familiar sight for years
on the Delaware River, and in the early 1930's on the Chesapeake Bay
out of Baltimore Harbor. "State of Delaware" was unique in its day: she
had a full-size movie screen on her top deck! Imagine...sailing down
the Chesapeake on this beautiful steamboat, gazing up at the stars,
while watching the latest movie! "Moonlit Run" is a real
piece of maritime history.
