"Mount Rushmore by Moonlight" by Paul McGehee. Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the Mount Rushmore National Memorial was sculpted over several years in tribute to four of our greatest Presidents on the rocky face of the mountain known as the Six Grandfathers. Sculptor Gutzon Borglum and his son, Lincoln Borglum, carved the likenesses of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln between the years of 1927 to 1941. Gutzon died in 1941 and his son took over the project, which was originally to depict the figures from the waist up, but due to lack of funding the project was completed as four busts in October, 1941. Mount Rushmore today is South Dakota's top tourist attraction.

"Mount Rushmore by Moonlight" is faithfully reproduced as an archival-quality print from McGehee's original color pencil and acrylic artwork, each hand-signed by the artist.
