City Days - 1939" by Paul McGehee. The golden age of surf and shore;
the famous Maryland beach resort on a sunny day. Gentle rollers of the
Atlantic come in to shore, cooling the happy beachgoers of yesteryear
splashing in the waves. This area of the Boardwalk near N. 2nd Street
was home to such legendary hotels as "The Colonial" and "The
Plimhimmon". The smell of popcorn...the sounds of the gulls
