"Old Baltimore Harbor (Study)" by Paul McGehee. The steamer "City of Richmond" departs for points south from the famous Maryland port back in 1930. This is a splendid panorama of the city as viewed from the top of Federal Hill. This oil study painting served as the model for the later large original and subsequent print...notice the beard on the artist (a self-portrait) in this study...Paul had shaved it off by the time he painted the final original, and that's how it ended up in the print!
