"Good Company" by Donald Teague (1897-1991). A classic cowboy scene of the old west as painted by an honored member of the C.A.A., the Cowboy Artists of America. Teague enjoyed a long career in illustration for publications such as The Saturday Evening Post and Collier's, but he came into his own with the scenes he painted for numerous pulp western magazines in the '50's. By 1958 he had moved full-time into western art. Here is a good example, and one of his earliest prints of the old west...a pristeen-quality copy of "Good Company" from 1960, showing some cowpokes taking a break around a campfire, enjoying a hot cup of joe, while their horses look on. This print is hard to find now...we have but one copy in stock. Make it yours, pilgrim. Print image size 12" x 29".
